After wandering the net for vore related sites, I thought I would post some reviews of pay sites I have visited.  Some of you may already be familiar with these sites but for others, perhaps this will help on a decision to join or, alternatively, a warning to stay away.

The first review is for Voreville.com.  Although most of the sites I have visited are or appear to be run and maintained by one artist and featuring the work of that artist, this site appeared to contain a variety of content from live video, animation and photo-manipulation...even a comic book.  The entrance page is flashy and professionally done and certainly enticing.  The member fee is a bit more than the others at about US 16.00.

Site Layout

The web-design budget appeared to have been blown on the non-member entrance page.  The member page is rather crudely done and the content is separated in a discussion forum-like list page and broken down by "topics" based on the type of creature featured.  I would have preferred that these be subcatagories of categories based on the type of media.

Content

The content is primarily photo-manipulations and these are numerous and generally of high quality.  There are hundred of well done photo-manipulated images featuring for the most part spiders and snakes.  Blobs and tentacled creatures are also fairly well represented.  Most of the images feature legs in stockings of some sort and wearing shoes.  The content is almost all soft-vore, basically a pair of sexy legs sticking out a creatures mouth. Although some of the spider vore is gory and a bit disturbing.  The site also has a number of gif animations which in this site is basically two frames flashing back and forth for a very elementary animation effect.  A couple of these were interesting but most of these are barely animations...two frames.

The entrance page also promises video and animation but this kind of content is pretty limited here.  Also, the non-member page has images that appear no-where on the member site..one of my pet peeves.

The animation video content is limited enough that I can describe right here what they have.

Video

1. a 10 second clip (from a movie perhaps?) of a woman being devoured by some kind of monster.  Sounds good but basically all you see is a guy in a bad rubber bat suit of some sort with something moving in his cape..and then a close up of twitching stockinged feet.  This might be great for some but I didnt really find it interesting.

2. A slightly longer video scene of a woman being suffocated on her bed by a python while a man standing above her narrates.  Again..this appears to be a part of a longer scene.  The actress is pretty and the distress is well played out.  However, everything is done in close up shots.  Close up of the actresses face, a close up of her feet being dragged a bit..etc.  Close up of a snake wrapped around something..It leaves alot to your imagination which is not what you want in a video clip.  Still, I thought this clip was interesting, if a bit frustrating.

Thats pretty much it for live video

Animation

There are a number (half dozen or so) different short animated CG renderings that are promising beginnings.  A few of these involve a nude woman being sucked into something such as a worm or in one case a giant meat grinder.  There is also an ongoing project involving a a snake and a woman on a bed.  Recently, the site put up this animation of the snake sneaking up on the model from behind and then devouring her head first.  This is shown in various angles and the animation is well done.  The entrance site had clips of other scenes with the model in pumps..which would have been much better..but these are not on the member site and therefore cannot be downloaded.

Updates

Seems to be updated with a few new things on a regular if unpredictable basis.  I think I have seen 3 or 4 updates in about 2 months.  The recent updates seem to be related to the CG animation projects but are merely test renderings to give an example of upcoming updates.

Verdict

Essentially, there is only one item I really liked..the new poser animation..and this is only about 10 seconds long.  This might be signs of things to come but, for the moment, the updates do not justify the continuous membership fee.  For example, I will be billed again this month at US$16 (bringing the total up to nearly $50) and have received only a few photo manipulations and a very preliminary short animation rendering for this.  It may be worthwhile to go in for a month to look around but not worth a continuous membership.  The best approach is to check back in every 6 months or so instead of paying every month for a handful of photo manipulations.

I think the second month is only $9.95 - if you stick around.

I rather enjoyed the digestion clip, and thought the teasers for ass-first swallows were promising.  It was also quite a bit of fun to see the masturbating model swallowed from different POVs.

Whatever site I visit, I can only judge based on my own personal preferences.  For me, that's soft vore - i.e. swallowing whole by various creatures.  Although I wasn't very impressed with Rayzor's early manips, I think he's improved a lot. He seems to have developed a real instinct for selection of source pics, and a sense for how to exploit them.  There are a number of pre-vore pics, where the snake has merely coiled around its prey.  These pics just feel right, though.  I also like Rayzor's willingness to experiment.  You never really know what he's going to do next.

And since no one else has done anything like his newsletters ( newspaper-like accounts of vore incidents), they really tickle my fancy.  I always look forward to the next one.  Of course, I always hope they're soft vore.  If not, I can overlook them ... but that's just my preference.

I too subscribe to voreville.com, along with other vore related sites.

The review is one of the best I've seen done so far as it gives a potential subscriber a good idea of what they might get for their money and may help people avoid subscribing to the wrong sites.

I have to agree to the previous posts that the choice of whether to join will depend upon personal taste in terms of media and content used on a given site, something that detailed reviews can only help.

With regards this review I personally would agree to some parts of the review, particularly about the GIFs, and disagree about others, such as video.  I'll personally subscribe to the site a bit longer to see how things develop as they look interresting.

The now-completed  ass-first swallow vid is incredible!  For starters, the victim thrashes and struggles all the way down.  And the details are amazing.  She is taken on a shiny wood floor - and you can actually see her reflection in the floor as she goes down.  I liked this vid so much that I single-stepped the entire swallowing sequence.  That's the only reason I caught the one little nitpick I have.  Near the very end of the vid, as the snake's mouth is closing on its meal, there are three consecutive frames where part of the victim (maybe a leg) can be seen underneath the snake.

The snake has a nicely convincing appearance, but what impressed me the most was the handling of the bulge.  I've seen many vids, including others at voreville (like the masturbating model swallow), where the size, shape, or position of the prey's bulge was altogether wrong during and after swallowing.

In addition to getting the bulge right ...  well, you've all seen real-life vids of snakes swallowing actual prey, and noticed the compression and stretching of the snake's outer skin as the peristaltic movements force the prey ever deeper.   Even that detail is evident in this vid.

Great job!

Having checked out the site's free areas and preview pages alone, I am definately interested in signing up!

(Like I should really also sign up to ytales' site, Vorister's site, Kim Young's etc)

Won't be for a while though, I'm moving soon and have enough things to haemorrage my money too :(.

This site is one of the best I've seen, and one of the few to pay attention to the aftermath of swallowing live women. A little stuggling goes a long way... especially once they're in the stomach.

Here are some samples for those of you who are still wondering what kind of stuff we do at http://www.voreville.com

A few members suggested I post my samples for the rest of you to enjoy. They're just short vore video animation clips that I have been slowly getting to more. Eventually in the future, we'll get to live video and CG mixed together.  Hopefully as time goes by I can figure out a way to speed up the process and make better vore animations faster, but for now... enjoy!  :)

Yah and a plea to find anyone that knows 3D Studio Max/Poser, if they want to start some kind of huge vore project? Now that would be cool...  like a long movie mixed with live video and CG monsters....  I'm talkin as REAL looking as we can get it!Compositing, particle effects and all! It would probably be a few months project kind of thing... no rush jobs...

Anyone interested?

Wow.

The snake poser animation looks awesome.  Very realistic and perfect sizing on the snake.

Sure what would you like to see...  most of the video previews is all I have at the moment because as I have mentioned, the vore animations are very new and I don't have many of them.  Most people have seen my manips... they're average, but  even I am starting to like the animations more than the stills now.

I really like the meatgrinder thing. I haven't seen something like that before. Does she go all the way through?

Thanks for the nice previews.

On my old machine videos ran well.  With my new one they won't run at all.

What's the best video software for these avi files?
