| Recently, I've had to use a proxy to access this site at all. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Generally IPs are blocked for frequent infringement of the site rules or persistent troll like behaviour.
Please send me a PM with your IP address and I will check the banned IP list.
If it is not present in this list, then possibly your net service provider could have attempted to prohibit your access to this site.

I'm thinking it's more likely the latter.
Strangely, however, there have been a couple of times I was able to access this site without the aid of a proxy.

Okay, I just tried to access the site with another browser, and it works fine. It seems whatever problem I am having with accessing this site is limited to Internet Explorer.

| I got wind of some complaints like this around me: while installing new IE8 update, you have to be carefull with the parental controller, which is defaulted to "ON". Sugest you check it. May be that's helpfull, friendly, Ob.

I completely stopped using IE after installing 8. Mainly because it loaded everything slow and crashed all too often. It would, however, let me log onto this site and FDI. I had once tried FireFox but it would not let me on this site along with various other sites--sexual in nature or otherwise. Having a lot more fun with chrome and safari. They both load pages much faster and do not restrict me. Heck, I pay for broadband, it better move faster!
Maybe if you try a different browser altogether it might make life a little easier for ya!
